Young Girl Molested At Midnight In Pune University, Case Registered Against Sanitation Worker
Pune, 4th January 2023: An incident has come to light that a young woman was molested while chatting with a friend near the alumni hall of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
In this regard, a case has been registered against a sanitation worker working at Pune University in Chaturshringi police station.
The name of the accused is Deepak Saude. A 22-year-old girl has filed a complaint in this matter. This young lady is studying at Pune University and staying in the girl’s hostel of SPPU. On the night of 31st December, she was standing and chatting with her friend on the road near the Alumni Hall.
At that time, Saude came there. For no reason, he started asking the girl questions like, “Which department are you from? What are you doing on the road so late at night? Will you both have sex in the open space?”
Also, he started threatening them saying, “Should I call the police and throw you inside?”
The young woman lodged a complaint in this regard with the Chaturshringi police on Tuesday (3rd January). Accordingly, a case has been registered against Saude.
Saude works as a sanitation worker at Pune University. It has come to light that although he was working as a housekeeper, he was threatening many students by pretending to be a policeman wearing a policeman’s jacket.
