Xiaomi Launches New Budget-Friendly Smartphone; Brand New Redmi 14R 5G Enters With 256GB Storage And 5100 mAh Battery
New Delhi, 14th September 2024: Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone in its domestic market. The company has brought the all-new Redmi 14R 5G as a successor to the Redmi 13R 5G. Many features in the new model are similar to the old, while many new things have been added to it.
The latest budget smartphone has four variants; 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. Its starting price is CNY 1,099, approx ₹13,000. The model comes in four different colors ranging from Olive Green, Shadow Black, and Lavender to Deep Sea Blue colors.
The phone has a 6.88-inch display, which supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels. It works with a peak brightness of 600 nits. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset for performance. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The all-new Redmi 14R 5G sports a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP camera for selfies. The phone draws power from a 5,160mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The phone runs on Hyper OS-based Android 14. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
