Wor(L)d of Courage Founders’ Day Celebration
4th August, 2017 : Founders’ Day is a special occasion for The Orchid School and to celebrate it by show casing the talent of Secondary School students. We also celebrate and felicitate the academic achievements of the students of classes X and XII.
We believe that academics and co scholastics are the two sides of human personality and both need to run parallel. Hence, the school gives a platform to the students to showcase dance, percussion, music and visual arts by aligning it with the School Theme.
The spirit of ‘COURAGE’ is what will be celebrated by students of The Orchid School through all the performances which will be witnessed on Friday evening, 4th August, 2017.The programme is aptly titled – Wor(L)d of Courage.
It will be an evening filled with multiple strands of Fine Arts showcasing the theme depicted in different fields.The magical evening will witness the celebration of the achievements of stalwarts like Taufiq Qureshi and Zakir Hussain in the field of music and Savitribai Phule and Baba Amte in the field of social work through varied fine arts forms like percussion, dance, drama and song. The vocalist would also render songs to inspire the audience and especially the students of TOS.
