Water Supply Disruption in Pune on 25th July Due to Pipe Leak near Swargate

Pune, 22nd July 2024: To address the leakage in front of Swargate Metro Station where a pipe from the Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) tank to Bhavani Peth of Parvati Water Treatment Plant is leaking, water supply will be completely halted on Thursday (25th July). Additionally, there may be delayed or low-pressure water supply the following day, Friday (26th July). The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has requested citizens to cooperate and use water carefully.

According to Nandakishore Jagtap, Chief Engineer of the Water Supply and Pumping Department at PMC, the water supply will be disrupted in the following areas: Shankar Sheth Road, Guruwar Peth, Budhwar Peth, Kashewadi, Quarter Gate, Ganj Peth, Bhavani Peth, Nana Peth, Lohiya Nagar, Somwar Peth, Arun Vaidya Stadium, Ghorpade Peth, Sarasbaug, Khadakmal Ali, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road, Mukund Nagar, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV) Colony, Meenatai Thackeray Nagar, Mira Society, Anand Society, Shreyas Society, Apsara Theater areas, the backside of Laxminarayan Theatre, some areas of Parvati Darshan, Mitra Mandal Colony, and Maharshi Nagar.
