Volkswagen Announces Year-End Bonanza: Up to Rs 4.2 Lakh Discounts on Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus Models”
Pune, 5th December 2023: In a bid to clear old inventory before the end of 2023, Volkswagen India has rolled out substantial discounts and benefits across its lineup comprising the Virtus midsize sedan, Taigun midsize SUV, and Tiguan SUV. These enticing discounts are available until the end of this month, offering significant savings for prospective buyers.
Discount Breakdown Across Models
Tiguan: The flagship SUV from Volkswagen is offered with an impressive discount of up to Rs 4.2 lakh. This comprises a cash discount of Rs 75,000, exchange and corporate benefits of Rs 75,000 and Rs 1 lakh, respectively. Moreover, select dealers are authorized to extend a four-year Service Value Package worth Rs 86,000 along with additional benefits amounting to Rs 84,000. Priced at Rs 35.17 lakh, the Tiguan is powered by a sole 190hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and VW’s 4Motion system.
Taigun: Positioned in the competitive midsize SUV segment, the Taigun, rivaling the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, among others, offers discounts of up to Rs 1.46 lakh. These include a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000, along with exchange, corporate benefits, and special benefits totaling Rs 40,000, Rs 30,000, and Rs 36,000, respectively. Available in various models priced between Rs 11.62 lakh and Rs 19.76 lakh, the Taigun comes with 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI engine options, coupled with manual and automatic gearboxes. Recently, a new Deep Black Pearl finish has been introduced for the top-spec 1.0-litre Topline variant to augment sales further.
Virtus: The midsize sedan, Virtus, offers total benefits worth Rs 1.17 lakh this month. This comprises a cash discount of Rs 50,000, exchange and corporate benefits of Rs 20,000 and Rs 17,000, respectively, along with additional special benefits amounting to Rs 30,000. Priced between Rs 11.48 lakh and Rs 19.29 lakh, the Virtus shares its engine and gearbox options with the Taigun and has also received the new Deep Black Pearl finish for its top-spec 1.0-litre TSI Topline variant.
