New Delhi, 23rd June 2022: The result of UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2022 was declared on Wednesday. In this 13,090 candidates have got success. The exam was conducted on June 5, 2022, and 11.52 lakh people had applied for the exam. Through the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022, 1022 posts of various civil services including IAS, IPS, and IRS will be filled. UPSC has said that the cutoff of Civil Services Prelims 2022 will be released only after the final result of the examination. The marks of the candidates who appeared for the prelims and its answer key will also be released next year only after the declaration of the final result.

Cutoff Marks is based on GS Paper-1 only. GS Paper-II is only qualifying (33% marks). According to the commission, all the candidates who pass as per the rules of the examination have to apply in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022. The dates for filling and submission of DAF-I will be announced through the website.

 

The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually by the Commission in three phases, which include Preliminary, Main and Interview. Through this, officers are selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) and others.
