Shivajinagar, 14th October 2024: The Seminar Department of Deccan Education Society’s Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune, in association with the National Labour Law Association, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung-India, and NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law & Industrial Relations Association, is hosting a prestigious two-day national conference.

The event, titled “Labour Laws for Transforming World of Work and Promoting Decent Work,” will take place on 17th and 18th October 2024, at the Kundanmals Firodia Auditorium, Fergusson College Campus, starting at 10:00 AM.

The inaugural session will be graced by distinguished guests of honour:

Sudhirkumar Bukke, District Judge, Labour Court, Pune, Maharashtra.

Prof. (Dr.) R. Venkata Rao, Vice-Chancellor, International University of Legal Education and Research, Goa.

Prof. (Dr.) N. S. Santhosh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University.

The event aims to delve into the vital role labour laws play in shaping the modern workplace and ensuring equitable and decent work for all. Esteemed experts will share their knowledge, creating a platform for insightful discussions.

The conference is organized under the guidance of Dr. Sunita Adhav, Principal, DES SNFLC, and Adv. Ashok Palande, Vice-Chairman, GB & Council, Chairman CDC, DES SNFLC, with support from all faculty members.
