Traffic Diversion On JM Road Due To Pune Metro Girder-Laying Work
Pune, 2nd February 2024: Pune Traffic Police have announced traffic changes in light of Maha Metro’s upcoming girder-laying work on Jangli Maharaj (JM) Road.
According to information provided by Pune Traffic Police, Maha Metro is scheduled to lay girders on the Metro’s pedestrian bridge on JM Road from February 3, 2024, to February 4, 2024. To ensure the safety of the work and minimize traffic disruptions, temporary alterations to traffic flow have been implemented.
During the period from 00:01 am to 5:00 am on both February 3, 2024, and February 4, 2024, the section of Jangli Maharaj Road from Blackberry Showroom to Nataraj Chowk will be closed.
Alternate Route Advisory: During this timeframe, drivers are advised to take the following detour – proceed straight on Krishnakant Kudale Path, make a right turn in front of Hotel Ramee Grand, then turn left onto Apte Road towards Prayag Hospital. Finally, make a left turn at Prayag Hospital and continue to Nataraj Chowk, reaching the desired destination.
