Top Bollywood OTT Releases This Week On Major Platforms

The much-awaited IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack will premiere on Netflix on 29th August. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, this series adapts Captain Devi Sharan’s book Flight Into Fear and stars Vijay Varma, Naseeruddin Shah, and Pankaj Kapur. The show recounts the harrowing 1999 hijacking of an Indian Airlines flight, a dark chapter in India’s aviation history.
On 30th August, JioCinema will release Cadets, a series directed by Vishwajoy Mukherjee. The show follows four young men navigating the challenges of military training and personal growth, starring Tanay Chheda, Tushar Shahi, and Gautam Gujjar.
For crime thriller enthusiasts, ZEE5’s Murshid is set to release on 30th August. The show features Kay Kay Menon as an ex-don forced out of exile to save his son from a gang war, alongside Zakir Hussain and Tanuj Virvani. Also on ZEE5, Interrogation, a murder mystery surrounding a retired judge’s death, was released on the same day, starring Rajpal Yadav and Girish Kulkarni.
