Three upsets at the MSLTA Shaping Champions Foundation Pune PMDTA All India Ranking Super Series U-16 Tennis Tournament
Pune, 1st October 2024: Prarthana Khedkar , Samradnyee Dalvi and Sharvani Deole caused upsets to move into the round of eight in the girls main draw at the MSLTA Shaping Champions Foundation Pune PMDTA All India Ranking Super Series U-16 Tennis Tournament organized by Shaping Champions Foundation Pune under the auspicious of AITA, MSLTA, PMDTA and played at the Shree Shivchatrapati Kreeda Sankul, Mhalunge Balewadi.
In the second round of the girls singles Prarthana Khedkar scalped second seed Riya Pudiyokkada of Karnataka 6-4, 7-5, while Samradnyee Dalvi came back from loss of the first set to outs fifth seed Sana Sesh Varadhamani of Karnataka 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Shravee Deore outplayed eighth seeded Rishita Patil 6-2, 6-1 to enter the quarterfinals.
