Tentative Date For Pre-IAS And PCS Exam Decided As December 18
Pune, 10th November 2022: Before IAS (Preliminary) Examination-2023 and PCS (Preliminary) Examination-2023, Joint Entrance Examination Program has been declared for free coaching for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
Director of Social Welfare Rakesh Kumar informed that the tentative date of the Joint Entrance Examination has been fixed as December 18. 100 Multiple Choice Questions from General Studies will be asked in the entrance test. Candidates will be selected based on the merit of the marks obtained in the entrance test.
He said that the candidates can get information about the detailed program of the entrance examination on the website of the Social Welfare Department- www.socialwelfareup.upsdc.gov.in.
Minister of State for Social Welfare, Independent Charge, Asim Arun, has said that free coaching is being conducted to give equality of opportunity to the needy participants. There has been a continuous improvement in the level of coaching, due to which a record 43 candidates got selected in the final result of PCS – 2021. Further improvements are being made at the level of coaching.
