Teenager Detained For Murder Of 41-Year-Old Woman In Maharashtra’s Jalna District; Investigation Underway

Jalna, 2nd April 2025: A shocking murder case has emerged from Maharashtra’s Jalna district, where police have solved the brutal killing of a 41-year-old woman. In a surprising revelation, a 13-year-old boy has been taken into custody for the crime. According to police officials, the minor has confessed to the murder.
The victim, identified as Meera alias Sandhya Bondare, was found dead in her own farmland on 25th March. She had been attacked with a stone, resulting in fatal injuries. Bondare was a resident of Antarwali Tembhi village in Jalna tehsil.
During the investigation, police discovered that the woman had recently scolded the teenager for blocking water from reaching her fields from a nearby canal. In a fit of anger, she had also thrown away his mobile phone. Enraged by the incident, the boy harbored resentment against her.
On the afternoon of 25th March, while the woman was resting in her field, the accused allegedly attacked her with a stone, killing her on the spot. Police officials confirmed that the teenager has admitted to the crime. He will be presented before the Juvenile Justice Board for further legal proceedings.
