Pune, 29th July 2024: As of this month, the prices of mobile recharge plans have increased significantly, posing a challenge for users seeking affordable options. For Jio users, however, a viable monthly recharge plan under ₹250 is still available. Jio offers a 28-day plan that includes free calling and data, providing a cost-effective solution amidst the price hikes by private telecom companies. This report outlines the features and benefits of Jio’s cheapest plan, which remains a practical choice for many users.

Currently, Jio’s most affordable plan is priced at ₹249 and provides a month’s worth of service. This plan meets the basic needs of users by offering unlimited calling and 1GB of data per day. The plan includes a validity of 28 days, ensuring continuous connectivity. Specifically, the plan details are:

– Validity: 28 Days
– Calling: Unlimited
– Data: 28GB, 1GB/Day
– SMS:100 SMS/Day
– Subscription Services: JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud

Previously, this plan was available for ₹209, but Jio has increased its price by ₹40. Despite this increase, the plan remains attractive due to the same benefits. It is especially suitable for users who need free calling throughout the month and moderate data usage for activities like WhatsApp, Google searches, and YouTube. With the availability of WiFi at home and office, this plan is more than sufficient for many users’ needs.

Since July, all private telecom companies have raised the prices of their recharge plans by up to 25%, making mobile recharge a significant expense. Jio’s ₹249 plan, however, continues to offer good value for money. Despite the overall price hike in the industry, Jio’s plan remains one of the most affordable options available, providing essential services at a reasonable cost.
