Tamhini Ghat Horror: Tourist Loses Life In Plus Valley Water Body Mishap In Mulshi, Pune

Mulshi, 13th December 2023: A tourist lost his life after drowning into a water body at Plus Valley in Tamhini Ghat. The incident occurred in Mulshi taluka, Pune district and the victim, who hailed from the Pimpri Chinchwad area, was accompanied by five friends during the visit to the valley.

The group, comprising the deceased and his friends, ventured to Plus Valley where the tourist, eager for a swim, entered a pool of water. Misjudging the water’s depth, he began to drown. Despite the efforts of his friends to rescue him, their attempts were unsuccessful.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the disaster management team swiftly responded, reaching the location to retrieve the lifeless body from the 1,200-feet deep gorge.

Police have urged the public to prioritize safety precautions when exploring the scenic attractions in the region.
