Suryadatta honors Mrs Prineet Grewal with ‘Mrs World Suryadatta’ title
Pune – Suryadatta Institute of Business & Wellness of the Suryadatta Group of Institutes, honoured Mrs India Earth 2016 winner, Mrs. Prineet Grewal with their prestigious ‘Mrs World Surydatta’ title at their Bavdhan campus on 10th December 2016. Dr. Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President & Chairman of Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Mrs. Sushma Chordiya and Dr. Deepak Shikarpur, IT Expert, Author & Entrepreneur, felicitated her by presenting her with a citation, trophy and a tiara.
“It’s a matter of great pride that a Puneite, Prineet Grewal was crowned the winner of the prestigious beauty pageant Mrs India Earth 2016 at Dwarka, Delhi recently, amidst members of Bollywood and of the fashion industry. She competed with more than 40,000 women across the country to win the crown and the title. And we therefore are privileged to honour her at our institute, for her achievement”, said Dr. Sanjay B Chordiya.
There was an interesting Q&A session that followed the felicitation, where Dr. Chordiya, Mrs. Sushma, Dr. Shikarpur and students asked her varied and interesting questions regarding her pageant, her education, her job and how she felt after winning the title.
“I believe Education is that one tool which is very important in everyone’s life and can bring about a change in the world to eradicate poverty, unemployment and terrorism”, she said. Talking of her life after winning the title, “One mantra I always follow is to never forget your roots. You may achieve great heights in life, but always remain grounded”, she advised the students.
When asked to rate beauty and brains, out of a score of 100, she said, “I would rate brains as 100%. Beauty fades away. It is the brains that get you a crown on the head”.
Dr. Chordiya too had an interesting message for the students. He said, “Today I will award all of you with a PHD degree. Not the doctorate, but where PHD stands for Passion, Hunger for success and Discipline”, which resulted in a lot of applause from the over 500 students in the packed auditorium.
Dr. Shikarpur talked to Mrs. Prineet about her role as an HR professional at John Deere.
Mrs. Prineet thanked the organizers and the students profusely and said this was one event which will be etched in her memory forever. She congratulated the students who were so lucky to be studying in such an esteemed institute.
