St. Mira’s Schools & College observed International Yoga Day.

At the St. Mira’s Secondary School, Mr. G. Mehmane, Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune; Mr. Haroon Attar, Education Officer Secondary School and Mr. Godhane, Joint Director were the distinguished guests.

The inter school ‘Yoga Demonstration Competition’ was held at GG International School today for all CBSE SCHOOLS. The students of Svis pradhikaran bagged the ‘First Prize’ amongst 19 schools for their group performance.

“Yoga is that which connects man with that infinite source of spiritual energy which is divinity. Nations are at strife because they have not been able to secure a unifying vision of life. Storms may blow around me, strife and conflict may wage around me but yet if I am able to retain the inner calm of the soul the inner peace of the heart that is indeed true yoga,” said Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani, Spiritual Head of Sadhu Vaswani Mission.
