Shooting at Pimpri Chinchwad Restaurant: Two Arrested, Including Ex-Corporator
Wakad, 13th September 2024: A shocking incident has occurred in the Pimpri Chinchwad area where two people sitting at a restaurant were fired upon. The incident took place last night at 8:45 PM. Two individuals, including a former corporator of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), have been arrested in connection with the case.
Sachin Dattu Nadhe and Vinod Jaywant Nadhe have been taken into custody. Tushar Laxmichand Bhojwani, a 24-year-old resident of Kalewadi, filed a complaint at Wakad Police Station.
According to police reports, Sachin Dattu Nadhe, Vinod Jaywant Nadhe, Tukaram Nadhe, and Mauli Nadhe were seated on the first floor of Rahul Bar & Khushboo Hotel, located in front of the Kalewadi Petrol Pump. Around 8:45 PM, Tushar Bhojwani, the manager of the hotel, heard a loud noise resembling firecrackers. Upon looking up, he saw Sachin Nadhe holding a revolver. He had fired the revolver at the plate service table, causing the bullet to pass through and leave a hole in the table. A bullet shell was found nearby. After the shooting, customers fled the hotel in panic.
The police have arrested two accused, and Vinod Nadhe, one of the arrested, is a former PCMC corporator. Wakad Police are investigating the case.
