Shooters Shriya Parikh & Swapnil Bhawar create new records

• All India G V Mavlankar Shooting Competition results declared

Pune, November 21^st: Shooters Shriya Parikh & Swapnil Bhawar from city based ‘Gun for Glory Shooting Academy’ created four new records during All India G V Mavlankar Shooting competition. Swapnil Bhawar bagged one gold medal while Shriya bagged three.

Organised by National Rifle Association of India, this competition was held at Maharashtra Rifle Association Shooting Ranges, Mumbai recently. This competition was decisive since the scores achieved here would enable the shooters to qualify for the upcoming 60^th National Shooting Championship Competitions to be held at Pune in December. In all 70 shooters from Gun for Glory Shooting Academy participated in the G V Mavlankar Shooting Competition. This information was shared today by Gun for Glory Shooting Academy.

In the 10-meter air Rifle Men event, Swapnil Bhawar scored 395 only to set a record and take away the Gold Medal. Shriya Parekh from Mumbai bagged 3 Gold medals in the Youth, Junior and Senior Category with 393.0-0x score (New record in all categories) in the Air Rifle 10-meter Women event.

Paramraj Sing Rana took the Silver and Akash Sardar took the Bronze in the Standard Pistol event. While Harshwardhan Yadav from Pune again bagged two medals (Gold and Silver) in Standard Pistol event.

Whereas Vikas Pote took the Silver and Sharvari Bhoir took the Silver in 10-meter Air Pistol event in the men and women category respectively. Harsheen Kaur from Bhubaneshwar bagged the Bronze in the Air Pistol women category and qualified for the Nationals.
