Shooters Disguised As Journalists Kill Gangster Atiq Ahmed And His Brother Ashraf Ahmed In UP Police Custody

Prayagraj, 16th April 2023: In a gruesome and sensational incident that has left the entire state of Uttar Pradesh shaken, notorious gangster and Bahubali, Atiq Ahmed along with his brother Ashraf Ahmed, were shot dead in public.

The brothers were reportedly killed in a film-style shootout in Prayagraj on Saturday around 10.30 pm. The cold-blooded murder of both brothers in quick succession has left many questions unanswered, and the police are yet to identify the perpetrators of this heinous crime.

What makes the incident even more horrific is the fact that it occurred just hours after the burial of Atiq Ahmed’s son, Asad, who was killed in an encounter with the UP police. The state has been on edge since the shootout on Thursday when the police, in their quest to nab the killers of Umesh Pal, gunned down Asad Ahmed, who was believed to have led the shooters in the murder case.

Atiq Ahmed, known for his criminal activities and alleged involvement in several cases of extortion, land grabbing, and murder, had been in jail for a long time.

The brazen attack on the two brothers has also raised questions about the law and order situation in the state. The fact that the shooters were able to carry out the murder in a public place, has left many wondering whether there is a complete breakdown of law and order in Uttar Pradesh.
