Shivneri Bus Hits Divider on Pune-Mumbai Expressway, Six Injured
Khopoli 5th July 2023: Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation’s bus Shivneri met with an accident in the wee hours on Wednesday near Khopoli on Pune-Mumbai Expressway. Six people including a driver and five passengers have sustained injuries in the incident and they have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the bus driver lost control over the vehicle and hit the divider on expressway causing this accident. No loss of life was reported in the incident. However, this led to heavy traffic jam on the road for sometime as the vehicles were piled up on the expressway.
The local police immediately rushed to the spot and the traffic movement was streamlined. Three of the injured people were rushed to MGM Hospital in Kalamboli while three have been taken to Khopoli Civil Hospital for the treatment.
