Shivai Buses Will Now Run On Four Routes From Pune
Pune, 20th February 2023: 20 e-buses (Shivai) will be introduced in the Pune division of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). After Ahmednagar from the Pune division, air-conditioned e-buses will now run on Aurangabad, Nashik, Solapur, and Mumbai routes.
Presently “Shivai” bus is running on the route from Pune to Ahmednagar. As this bus is air- conditioned and comfortable, it is getting the response of the passengers. The corporation has decided to procure five thousand more e-buses in the next three years This bus will gradually enter the fleet of ST. 50 e-buses will be introduced in the first phase.
All these buses will be given to the Pune division. 20 of these buses will enter the fleet by the end of February. These e-buses will ply on Aurangabad, Nashik, Solapur, and Kolhapur routes. For this, the work of the charging station in the Pune division is in the final stage and it will be completed soon. Pune is going to be the only division in the state, from where a maximum number of e-buses of ST will run.
