Pune, 7th August 2023: A concerning revelation has emerged, indicating that certain colleges have failed to properly register the marks for internal, external, and practical examinations of their students with the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

Consequently, the university’s examination department has taken the necessary steps to withhold the results of affected students. This oversight by a few colleges has resulted in a delay in the announcement of results, adversely impacting the students.

This academic year, the university’s examination department expedited the result declaration process, offering respite to students. However, it has come to light that certain colleges have neglected to digitally submit the internal marks awarded to their students to the university.

The examination department is faced with the challenge of determining how to proceed with announcing the results for these particular students. The results for colleges where mark submissions were pending have been temporarily held in reserve. It should be noted that the results for the remaining students have been duly published.

In a bid to mitigate any harm to students, a solution has been devised to address this issue. The examination department has decided to reopen the online mark registration link for colleges that have failed to submit the internal, external, and practical examination marks. Affected colleges have been granted a window from August 8 to 10 to rectify this oversight. However, it has been emphasized by the examination department that no further extension beyond this period will be granted.
