Pune, 6th June 2024: Samsung has officially declared the termination of software support for three smartphones from its M and A series, namely Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41, and Galaxy M01. Launched in 2020 with Android 10, these models were promised a minimum of four years of updates. However, Samsung has decided to halt the updates, leaving users concerned about their device’s security and performance. The A51 5G received updates up to Android 13, while the A41 and M01 were running on Android 12. With this announcement, users are advised to explore upgrading options for continued support.

Samsung had initially committed to providing four years of updates for these models. However, the recent decision to cease updates has left users contemplating their next steps regarding device security and performance.

In response to this development, users may consider upgrading to newer models that offer ongoing software support and enhanced features. Samsung has introduced the Galaxy F55 5G in India, priced at less than Rs. 30,000, providing an attractive option for users seeking an upgrade. This device boasts a powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display, and a robust 5,000mAh battery.

Additionally, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G, catering to users looking for alternatives. Both phones feature a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The A55 5G impresses with its advanced camera system, including OIS, a 50MP main sensor, and a high-resolution 32MP front camera. On the other hand, the A35 5G offers similar camera capabilities with a slightly different configuration.

These new models run on the latest Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1 interface, providing users with enhanced processing power, display quality, camera capabilities, and continued software support. Considering these factors, users of A51 5G, A41, and M01 are encouraged to explore upgrading to these newer options to ensure a seamless smartphone experience.
