Retesh Kumaarr Is New Police Commissioner Of Pune City, Amitabh Gupta Transferred
Pune, 13th December 2022: Maharashtra state government today transferred senior police officers in the state.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta has been transferred to Maharashtra Police headquarters as Additional DGP (law and order) in the DGP office.
He has been replaced by Retesh Kumaarr as the new Commissioner of Police of Pune city. Kumaarr is a 1992-batch IPS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. At present, he is the head of Maharashtra CID.
