Reliance Launch New Mobile Phone JioPhone Prima 2 4G; Model Comes Up With Front Camera And Online Payment Facility
New Delhi, 14th September 2024: Reliance Jio has added a new phone to its feature phone portfolio in India. The phone, named the JioPhone Prima 2 4G, has been made available for sale on Amazon. In the coming days, it can also be bought for sale at Reliance’s digital stores and Jio Mart.
JioPhone Prima 2 phone launched in blue color has been launched at a price of ₹2,799. The said model is the successor of the JioPhone Prima launched last year. It has some minor upgrades in terms of features.
Powered by Qualcomm SoC, the phone runs on the Kai-OS platform, which supports YouTube, Facebook, and Google Voice Assistant. The new model also has JioTV, JioCinema, JioSaavn, and many other entertainment apps. The phone has support for JioChat and native video calling with a selfie as well as a rear camera without any app.
Payment can also be made by scanning the QR code from this feature phone. The Jio Pay app is provided in it. It has a 2000mAh battery. Chat facility is also available in the feature phone.
The phone has a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA curved display with 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. The feature phone also has an LED Torch. The phone has a 0.3MP (VGA) front camera, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an FM radio. The model also supports 23 languages with features like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, and a 2000mAh battery.
