Reliance Jio Announces Prepaid Tariff Hike Effective July 3

Mumbai, 27th June 2024: The country’s leading telecom company, Reliance Jio, has announced an increase in the prices of its prepaid tariff plans, effective from July 3, 2024. This marks the first instance of Jio raising its tariffs before Airtel.

Reliance Jio has increased the prices of 19 plans, including 17 prepaid and 2 postpaid plans. The base plan, which was previously priced at Rs 155, will now cost Rs 189, reflecting a 22 percent hike. The validity of this plan remains 28 days. Other plans have also seen price increases without changes in data benefits.

Reliance Jio has also updated its unlimited 5G data offerings. Going forward, plans with 2GB data per day will include unlimited 5G data, providing added value for users who require extensive data usage.
