Quiz app to launch for MPSC/UPSC aspirants

Pune : Devised by former examines, the app will cater to students from rural areas, who prepare for preliminary exam at their hometowns. For those, who are vigorously preparing for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission(MPSC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, a bunch of aspirants have fortified their study schedule through an application. Available on smartphones, those appearing for the competitive examination will have two quizzes daily based on the MPSC syllabus. There will be rewards for the right answer. The application is a brainchild of a group of students who had attempted MPSC examination. Called Competitive Player App, it is available free of cost and is designed especially for students in rural areas, who prepare for their preliminary examinations at their respective hometowns. It will be launch on Wednesday, 12th September 2018 at 5.00 pm at Balgandharva Rangmandir, JM Road, Pune. Girish Bapat, Hon Gaurdian Minister of Pune will preside over the function. While Krishna Prakasha, IGP, VIP Security, Sandip Patil, SP, Pune and Jyoti Priya Sinh, DCP, Pune will be the chief guest for function, informed by Dr Abhijeet Deshmukh and Pankaj Toshniwal. Pankaj Toshniwal said, “The two quizzes will come out at 10 am and 8 pm. Students can log in to the application and attempt the quiz which will have ten questions. Each question has to be answered in 10 seconds. We have kept 10 seconds as answer time to each question so that students do not use reference to answer. Also, it takes less than 10 seconds for an individual to click the right answer. By giving right answers, students can also earn anything between Rs 5 and Rs 20 for each quiz.” The application has been tied up with Paytm and the rewards will be given to students through Maharashtra Academy. They can also avail video lectures and blogs by experts through this application. While the quiz, videos, blogs are free of cost, students can also enrol for advanced course that provides study material at nominal cost. The application will be formally launched on September 12 and will be open for all the students using Android operating system.
