Leading Asian direct selling company QNET has expanded its health and wellness product portfolio in India with the launch of the premium ‘NutriplusTM InOcean’ mineral complex. The health and wellness category contributes to about 5% of the company’s total sales in India.

NutriplusTM InOcean further strengthens QNET’s overall product offering in the health and wellness space in India. The supplement meets the body’s daily requirement of essential micronutrients. It is enriched with minerals like Magnesium, which helps improving heart and brain activity, maintaining blood sugar levels and building a stronger immunity.

Speaking on the launch of NutriplusTM InOcean, Pramodh Manda, Regional Advisor South Asia, QNet, said, “The Wellness segment in the direct selling industry contributes to 53% of total retail sales in India. We are happy to introduce NutriplusTM InOcean for our customers in a dynamic Indian market where quality health supplements and wellness products are in good demand. We plan to launch more products not only in the health segment but also in the personal care category. These product categories are expected to contribute around 10 per cent to the overall business in India for the coming FY.”

As per various reports, India has one of the highest incidences of micronutrient deficiencies in the world with almost one-third of over 2 billion of its population estimated to be deficient in minerals and vitamins. The country has also one of the highest populations with lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes and heart attack.

NutriplusTM InOcean comes with many active benefits and is suitable for both adults and children above 6 years. It replenishes the essential minerals which are lost during daily activities, like exercise. It is available in ionic form, which is more easily absorbed by our body. Additionally, InOcean changes water in our body to an alkaline base, which helps maintain pH levels in the body. The product has been priced at INR 2,580 for a single pack and INR 4,990 for duo-pack.

With an eclectic range of products in the health, wellness and lifestyle segment, QNET in India is well poised for an overall sales growth of INR 800 Crore in the FY 2018-19. Four to five new products under the NutriplusTM health banner of QNET are planned for launch in the coming year.
