Pune ZP CEO Ayush Prasad, Mulshi BDO Jathar Felicitated For COVID Management

Hinjawadi, January 27, 2021: The management committee of Megapolis Splendour CHS Ltd felicitated Pune Zilla Parishad CEO Ayush Prasad, IAS, and Sandeep Jathar, Block Development Officer, Mulshi, on January 26 for their contribution and exceptional work in COVID management in the area.
The program was organized to establish stronger communication and coordination with Zilla Parishad, Block and Gram Panchayat officials so that society can work shoulder to shoulder on the issues being faced in this area. Guests from other societies also attended the session.
The key highlights of the interaction were:
1. Solid Waste Management – The issue has been taken on priority by ZP team for the permanent solution of a solid waste management plant for Maan, Hinjawadi and other villages. The societies need to play their role by segregating wet and dry waste and ensure more steps towards garbage reduction.
2. Work Closely with newly elected GP team – it was highlighted that Megapolis and other societies should work together with the newly elected GP team. Also, societies need to increase their participation in Gram sabha, voter registration etc.
3. Social Issues and Participation of societies
ZP CEO Prasad requested societies to work on below issues:
A. Domestic violence has been on the rise, societies should socially take steps to educate residents and tap on domestic violence.
B. Stray Dogs – Society representatives should work closely with Grampanchayat to set up a solution for stray dogs sterilization. Residents should also play their part in becoming responsible pet/ stray lovers.
C. Alcohol consumption – There has been a rise in alcohol consumption in the area and societies need to play a role in educating residents.
ZP CEO Prasad also said that Hinjawadi IT residents can also help ZP team in designing and implementing technological solutions e.g. an application for complaint redressal etc.
