Pune, 10th October 2024: The State Government has introduced the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana starting from the financial year 2024-25. The scheme aims to provide practical job training to youth after completing their education, enhancing their employment prospects.

Under this scheme, a monthly stipend of ₹6,000 will be given to students who have passed Class 12, ₹8,000 to ITI or diploma course students, and ₹10,000 to graduates and postgraduates.

The scheme is being implemented through the State Government’s Department of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, as well as the Chief Minister’s Public Welfare Cell. Job seekers will be connected with potential employers through the website [rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in]

Students with Class 12, ITI, diploma, degree, and postgraduate qualifications are encouraged to register on the website. The duration of on-the-job training will be six months. Vinod Mohitkar, Director of the Technical Education Department, noted that the age limit for the training is set at 18 to 35 years.
