Pune : Youth Robbed At Gunpoint In Fursungi, 12 Booked
Pune 9th Sept 2023: A group of youths chased down a young man riding a motorbike, forcibly robbed him of his wallet, PAN card, and Aadhar card, in a robbery incident that unfolded in Fursungi’s Chandanwadi Canal Road late Thursday night. In connection with this dacoity, 12 individuals who arrived in cars and on motorcycles have been booked by the police.
According to the complaint filed by Sainath Ankush Shedage (25), a resident of Karve Nagar area at the Hadapsar Police Station, the incident occurred at around 8:00 pm on Thursday on Chandvadi Canal Road in Fursungi.
According to the police, the complainant was riding a motorbike on Chandvadi Canal Road when the robbers arrived. They forcibly stopped him, brandished pistols, and robbed him. After threatening him, they took away Rs. 5,500 cash, his PAN card, and Aadhar card from his pants pockets. They also issued a threat that if he reported the incident to anyone, they would harm him.
