Bhor, 4th January 2023: In an incident on Tuesday (3rd January) around 7 pm, a young man fell into a 500 feet deep gorge while taking a selfie in front of the Waghjai temple at Varandha Ghat on the Bhor-Mahad road. The rescue team from Mahad and Bhor and the administration have reached the spot to find this young man.

Preliminary information has been received that while taking a selfie in Varandha Ghat, a young man suddenly fell into a 500 feet ravine. Sahyadri rescue teams from Mahad and Bhor talukas and the Bhor administration have reached the spot to search for the youth. The identity of the youth is still unknown to the administration and the rescue team.

A red-coloured four-wheeler is parked next to Waghjai Temple in Varandha Ghat. It is said by a passenger as well as a driver that this car belongs to the youth.

Bhor Tehsildar Sachin Patil said that the rescue team from Bhor and Mahad and Deputy Tehsildar Manohar Patil, Circle Pandurang Lahare, Bhor Police Vikas Lagas, Uddhav Gaikwad have reached the spot.
