Pune: Yogesh Mhase Appointed as PMRDA Commissioner
Pune, 27th June 2024: Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) Commissioner Rahul Mahiwal has been transferred, and IAS officer Yogesh Mhase has been appointed as his successor.
Mhase previously served as the district collector for Raigad District but was transferred following the Irshalwadi landslide disaster amidst allegations of political pressure influencing his move.
Known for his reputation as a strict administrator, Mhase now steps into the role of PMRDA Commissioner, bringing with him a new set of responsibilities and challenges.
