Pune: Woman’s Dead Body Found Hanging From Tree Near Hinjawadi, Police Suspect Foul Play
Hinjawadi, 31st March 2022: A woman (aged about 20 years) was found hanging from a tree in a secluded place on the bank of the Mula river in Maan village on Thursday. The body was sent for autopsy by police.
Police officials said that the woman died many days ago. “A trader informed police about a body of a woman hanging from the tree. The body was decomposed. We are probing all possibilities whether she was murdered or died by suicide. It is difficult to ascertain her identity. Therefore, we are checking the details of all women who have gone missing in the last two months”, said Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash, who inspected the spot with the Crime Branch team.
There is a big challenge before the Pimpri-Chinchwad police to solve the mystery of the woman’s death. An FIR has been registered by the Hinjawadi police station and further investigation is going on.
