Pune: Woman Set On Fire After Parking Dispute In Kharadi, Shocking CCTV Footage Reveals Incident
Kharadi, 19th February 2024: A shocking incident has emerged in the Kharadi area of Pune involving an attempt to immolate a woman amidst a parking dispute. The assailant tried to set a woman on fire after pouring petrol. Additionally, surveillance footage capturing the incident has been revealed.
However, disaster was averted as the woman ran away into the house. This whole thing happened because of a parking dispute. It has come to light that a group of 10 to 15 people did this whole thing. A case has been registered in the Chandan Nagar Police Station in this case and information has come to light that some of the people are criminals on record in this case.
Mahesh Raje has lodged a police complaint regarding this incident. As per the police report, Mahesh Raje and the individual accused in this case reside in the same neighbourhood. A parking dispute ensued between them, leading to an altercation on February 17. Subsequently, 13 individuals arrived and vandalized a vehicle owned by the complainant. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
The accused additionally set fire to one of the bikes on the premises. Since the complainant’s female tenant was present at the scene, the accused attempted to immolate her by dousing her body with petrol.The woman managed to escape, averting a potential tragedy.
The Chandan Nagar Police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the entire incident.
