Pune: Woman Molested by Society Security Guard in Kalyaninagar, Arrest Made
Pune, 9th June 2024: A distressing incident unfolded in a society located in the Kalyaninagar area, where a young woman was molested by a security guard under the guise of delivering a parcel. The Yerwada police arrested the accused guard.
The security guard has been identified as Vikram Laxman Wagh, aged 25. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, lodged a complaint at the Yerwada police station detailing the harrowing encounter. According to police reports, the victim resides on the tenth floor of a society in Kalyani Nagar.
The incident occurred when the woman was expecting a delivery of items she had ordered online. Taking advantage of the situation, Vikram Wagh gained access to her flat by claiming to deliver the parcel. However, once inside, he subjected the woman to lewd behavior, prompting her to immediately report the incident to the authorities.
In response to the complaint, the Yerwada police initiated swift action, apprehending the accused security guard. Assistant Police Inspector Lamkhede is conducting further investigation.
