Pune: Woman Died in Dumper Accident near Bhumkar Nagar, Narhe Gaon

Narhe, 25th May 2024: In a tragic incident near Bhumkar Nagar in Narhe Gaon, a woman was fatally crushed by a dumper today. The accident occurred on the service road near Bhumkar Bridge.
The deceased has been identified as Sangita Thembe. She was riding her two-wheeler when a dumper, coming from the direction of Swaminarayan Mandir towards Narhe Gaon Bhumkar Bridge, struck her. The impact was severe, and Thembe succumbed to her injuries on the spot.
The accident has raised concerns about road safety and traffic management in the area. Eyewitnesses reported that the service road where the accident took place is frequently used by heavy vehicles, making it hazardous for two-wheeler riders and pedestrians.
An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the incident.
