Pune: Woman Arrested for Husband’s Murder in Sinhagad Road Area
Sinhagad Road, 10th September 2024: A woman fatally stabbed her husband following ongoing harassment caused by his excessive drinking. The incident occurred in the Sinhagad Road area on Sunday night (8th September). The Sinhagad Road police have arrested the wife in connection with the case.
The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Kirpa Bipta, a native of Nepal. A case has been registered against his wife, 46-year-old Hira Bipta, at the Sinhagad Road Police Station.
According to the police, Kirpa Bipta worked as a security guard in a society in Narhe. He frequently harassed his wife due to his drinking habits, leading to constant arguments. On Sunday evening, after one such argument, Hira stabbed her husband, resulting in his death due to severe injuries.
