Pune: Wine Shop Ransacked by Armed Youths In Camp, Police Launch Manhunt
Camp, 5th August 2024: A shocking incident of vandalism unfolded in the Camp area on Sunday night when three youths attacked a local wine shop with iron rods, causing a significant disturbance in the neighborhood.
The incident took place at the New York Wine Shop located in Kalpataru Society. According to a complaint filed by Anand Zaware at Lashkar Police Station, the trio arrived at the shop around 9 p.m. armed with iron rods. They aggressively ransacked the shop, smashing glassware and creating a scene before fleeing the scene.
Senior Police Inspector Girish Dighavkar of Lashkar Police Station confirmed the attack. “The three individuals used iron rods and crowbars to vandalize the wine shop, causing substantial damage. They broke the glass and left the premises screaming,” Dighavkar said.

The exact motive behind the attack remains unclear, and no arrests have been made yet. The Lashkar Police are investigating the incident and searching for the suspects.
