Pune Welcomes Olympic Medalist Swapnil Kusale with Grand Celebration at Airport

Pune, 8th August 2024: Olympic medalist Swapnil Kusale has returned to India. Today, he was given a grand welcome at Pune airport amid the sound of drums.

Swapnil Kusale performed aarti to the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Temple today and took darshan with great emotion. On this occasion, he was welcomed by the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganpati Trust with a gift of a Lord Ganesha idol.

Maharashtra’s shooter Swapnil Kusale won a bronze medal in the 50m rifle three-position category, scoring a total of 451.4 points in the competition.

Swapnil Kusale said, “Ganpati Bappa Morya… I have come to see Bappa because everything is because of Bappa. Bappa has granted all that I have asked for to date.”
