Pune, 5th August 2024: According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Pune will experience a generally cloudy sky today with a few spells of light to moderate rain. Heavy to very heavy rain is also expected in isolated ghat areas.

On Sunday, the city witnessed an overcast sky with continuous moderate to heavy rain. Some ghat areas experienced very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall.

– Moderate waterlogging in low-lying areas and along riverbanks
– Possibility of falling branches and small trees
– Loosening of rocks due to persistent rains, potentially leading to minor landslides or mudslides in elevated hilly areas (ghat areas)
