Pune University Reschedules MPSC, UPSC Training Entrance Exams; Check New Dates

Pune, November 15, 2020: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has rescheduled the entrance exam of the Competitive Examination Center (CEC) for Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). 

Earlier the exam was scheduled on November 24, but now it has been rescheduled to December 5, 2020. The exam will be held on December 5 from 10 am to 1 pm, stated a notice issued by the SPPU administration.

The details of the online exam centres and seating arrangements will be announced on November 23. Hall tickets will be generated online from November 23 onwards.

Savitribai Phule Pune University has always been in the forefront to provide various services to students. Considering the need of the students to prepare and compete in the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and Other State Level and Private sector services, the University had taken a decision and so establish Competitive Examinations Centre in 1970 which was then named as IAS Training Service.  

 

The objectives of the Competitive Examination Centre are:

  • Creating awareness and encouraging the youth of Maharashtra for UPSC/MPSC Civil Service and other Competitive Examinations.
  • To cultivate interest and provide specific training required for such Examinations.
  • To build confidence among the students through continuous counseling, and provide the necessary exposure to the competitive environment.
  • To provide adequate infrastructure and state of art training tools for achieving such targets.
