Pune University Ready For G-20 Conference, Foreign Guests To Enjoy Heritage Walk
Pune, 13th January 2023: The historic building of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), which is considered the glory of Pune, is ready to welcome visitors from 20 countries. The visitors will be able to experience the 150 years old historical buildings, various museums, subways, and biodiversity here on the occasion of ‘Heritage Walk’.
On the occasion of the G20 conference, the welcome boards, colours, and tents have been put up to welcome the guests, giving a different excitement to the atmosphere of the university.
The university has organized a special heritage walk for these visitors to get to know the entire area. Savitribai Phule Pune University has started ‘Heritage Walk’ for outsiders since 2018. On this occasion, citizens from outside the university can come to the university every second and fourth Saturday to see and get information about this structure.
The subway in the main building, the History Museum, the Caricature Museum, the Museum of History and Anthropology Department, and others are the main attractions. The university has organized this heritage walk so that foreign visitors also get to know about all these things.
History Department head and heritage walk committee member Dr Shraddha Kumbhojkar informed that professors and students of the History Department will inform the guests about this.
