Pune University Postpones Examinations Scheduled For June 29
Pune, 27th June 2023: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced the postponement of all examinations scheduled for June 29. The decision was made in consideration of two significant festivals, Bakrid and Ashadhi Ekadashi, both falling on the same day.
According to an official circular issued by the university, the summer examinations for 2023 began on June 6. However, all exams originally planned for June 29 will now be rescheduled. The postponed examinations will be conducted on July 9 at their respective scheduled times.
Several colleges affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University had requested a change in the examination date from July 29 to July 9. Taking these requests into account, the university has made the decision to accommodate the changes. The circular also instructs all affiliated colleges of the university in Ahmednagar, Nashik, and Pune to suspend and reschedule their examinations accordingly.
This postponement aims to ensure that students can observe and celebrate the important festivals without any clash with their academic obligations.
