Pune University Flyover Design To Be Ready By Next Week: Siddharth Shirole

Pune, October 10, 2020: Design of the new flyover near Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will be finalised by next week informed Shivajinagar MLA Siddharth Shirole.
A meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Pune District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar regarding the new flyover. “The plan will be finalised by next week with coordination between Tata Projects and Pune City Traffic Police”, said Shirole.
‘Corona Saath’ and ‘Smart City’ campaigns were also discussed in the presence of Pawar. “We should conduct a SERO survey as per the guidelines of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)”, suggested Pawar in the meeting.
Issues of restaurateurs harassed by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) authorities, reopening of gyms, playgrounds, parks and reinstating tenders under SmartCity campaign were raised in the meeting.
This meeting was also attended by Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Pune District Collector Rajesh Deshmukh, Commissioner of Police Amitabh Gupta, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sanjay Shinde, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Surendra Deshmukh, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, PMRDA’s Suhas Divase and Officials of Tata Projects.
