Although the online mode of examination was held smoothly, in the afternoon session Mathematics students’ complained of a technical error in the question paper. “The problem was only in the mathematics paper of the afternoon session. Students complained that they could only see the options for answers and no question was visible. It could be a technical error. The question papers are in the format of an image, so there may have been a problem. We will re-conduct the exam on October 17,” said SPPU registrar Prafulla Pawar. Less than 1,000 students had appeared for the afternoon session Mathematics paper. The morning session of the same paper was held smoothly, he informed.

The offline examination which was held simultaneously and was carried out smoothly at the respective examination centres, informed the department of examination and evaluation, director Mahesh Kakade.

“Students’ health and safety is our primary concern and will be given utmost attention. Therefore, all the arrangements have been made accordingly, to ensure their safety,” said Kakade.
