Pune: Two Children Drown In A Stream At Ambegaon, Bodies Recovered
Pune 4th August 2023: In a tragic incident reported at Gangapur village in Ambegaon in the Pune district on Friday, two children were drowned in a steam. The deceased were siblings and had gone to catch crabs at a stream. However, one of them aged around 12 years slept into the stream and started drowning.
After noticing her brother drowning here, his sister aged around 14 years also ran to save him but she also slept and drowned with him. They shouted for help but since nobody was around they could not be saved.
The local villagers rushed to the spot after knowing about the incident but by the time they were rescued they had already died. The bodies were sent for postmortem and the local reached the spot.
