Pune: Two Accident Reported At Same Spot Today At Navale Bridge, Traffic Chaos On Mumbai Bangalore Highway
Narhe, 5th April 2023: In a continuing series of accidents in the Navale Bridge area of the Mumbai-Bangalore highway, a container truck driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with a car near Selfie Point at Narhe on Friday morning around 8 am and there after 11:30 am at the same place the second accident reported with a bike and a Car.
There were no casualties, but the car sustained severe damage. The truck driver fled the scene, and authorities are currently searching for him.
This particular stretch of road has been declared a black spot for the past couple of years, with temporary measures in place to prevent accidents. However, the accidents persist, causing huge traffic jams and lengthy queues of vehicles.
Sinhagad Road Traffic Division’s Assistant Police Inspector Pandurang Waghmare and traffic personnel rushed to the scene, immediately managing the traffic. National Highway Patrol officers and personnel used cranes to remove the accident vehicles.
