Pune: Transgenders Community Protest Against Nitesh Rane For His Remark Against Community, Demand FIR
Pune 12th July 2023: The transgenders of the city on Wednesday hit the street demanding action against BJP leader Nitesh Rane for objectionable remarks against the community. The protestors started indefinite strike against Rane near Ambedkar Chowk in the city.
BJP leader Narayan Rane while criticising foerr. chief minister Uddhav Thackeray had posted a controversial post on his social media. He has called Uddhav Thackeray a leader of transgender community. The angry members of trans community are demanding an FIR against Nitesh Rane for his remarks. They alleged that the city police are not ready to lodge an FIR in the matter due to which they had no option but to hold protest.
