Pune: Traffic Police Takes Action Against Citizens Breaking Rules Under Their New Campaign
Pune, 22nd May 2023: Citizens often complain about traffic congestion in Pune. Citizens driving recklessly, breaking signals, and not following any traffic rules create many traffic problems. Pune Traffic Police has taken steps against such citizens and strict action is being taken against them.
Pune Traffic Police has launched a campaign under which the traffic police have started posting photos captured by CCTV cameras of citizens breaking traffic rules on their official Twitter handle. Therefore, strict action is being taken against drivers who drive recklessly.
Traffic rules apply to everyone. Therefore, action is being taken against PMPML buses as well. The official Twitter of Pune Traffic Police informed that action is taken against the PMPML bus by sharing the photos of the bus coming in front of the white strip when the signal turned red.
The traffic police are also taking action against the drivers who drive on the footpath, break the rules and harass other citizens. After tagging the police account on Twitter and complaining about the violators, the police take action against such unruly vehicles. Due to this operation of the police, disorderly traffic will come under pressure.
